Nostalgy: Anybody who has a driver for Canon F914900 parallel port scanner

Hello

I have got hold of an old piece of hardware: A Canon F914900 scanner.
The F914900 is written on the small label on the rear side. Nothing
else identifies the scanner.

I have although not been able to find either any description nor
drivers on the net. Google has a few hits but all to expired auctions.

As I hate to throw working hardware in the bin I use this message as
the last resort and hope some one can help me with a Windows driver or
other information that can help me bring the scanner in use again.

go to scanner-drivers.com (one of driverguides subsites) and search for the canon n340p & n640p drivers
you should come across drivers that include canocraft CS-P v3.8 scanning program. this will work with your scanner, as it did with mine which had the same model number as that on the back. if you dont want to sign up with driverguide use
