NORTONS ANTI VIRUS

i uninstalled nortons 2003 and i dont have a disk. it came with the computer.
and i dont have any recovery disk for windows xp,i tried to system restore but it said it could not restore, so how do i reinstall nortons 2003, please help

Hi,
As you have uninstalled NAV 2003 so system restore won't help.You have
to reinstall it again.You have to purchase it.

If it came with your computer, then it is should be included on the
applications and drivers cd or the equivalent for your brand machine.

Depends on what computer you have. Could be the computer vendor only
provide an image disk (CD) that restores the system to the same state as
when you bought it. That means everything gets wiped out to restore that
exact disk image. Could be you have a CD that lets you reinstall the OS and
even do an in-place upgrade. In that case, NAV2003 is probably in a
subdirectory on that CD or on another CD that came with your computer. If
the computer was setup by some jobber or friend of yours rather than a
typical OEM or store then you'll have to ask that jobber or friend why they
didn't give you the installation media for software that was supposedly
included with the computer, or why they installed a pirated copy on your
computer.

At this time be sure to purchase Internet Security 2004. The latest version,
replacing 2003. CGS
