Norton Utilities vs Windows Maintenance

Is it possible that Norton Utilities conflict with Windows Maintenance?
At the moment nothing I schedule to start works, neither in Windows or Norton. The situation is not improving, no matter what I do. I disabled ALL of Norton's and still got nowhere.

This problem may be related to the one I posted previously, re: Norton Disk Doctor.

What to do!!!

How are you scheduling tasks? Are you scheduling them while logged on to an
account in the Administrator group that is password protected?

Thank you for your reply. I didn't realize I needed to go to the password issue, since this is a stand alone and no one else is using or has access to it. But I will check all that you have suggested immediately.
