norton system works 2006 lost producy key

hi all,
i bought norton system works 2006 for my son a month ago, from which he
screwed up his system and formatted it, (silly boy i hear you all say).
any way to make things worse he's lost the card with the product key number
on it, so now we have reinstalled xp is there anyone out there who is able
to supply him with the n.s.w.2006 product key.
by the way, yes we've tried phoning norton and we're sick to death off
waiting for them to answer so all serious replies are greatly appreciated.
 
Sorry, but you really don't expect a serious reply?
If Symantec are not forthcoming, then perhaps you should thank your
lucky stars and quit while you are ahead?

If anyone supplies you with a product key for NSW, don't count that
person as a friend.
 
firstly yes i do expect some serious replies, unlike yours, and secondly who
are you to decide who i count as a friend.
 
Lose the product key and your only recourse is the supplier, or various
dubious web sites, where if you stray that way, you will require a current
decent AV installed
 
What age son ? - Hasty actions, like a system format and then
compounded by a lost product key are unfortunate but unless
you could use a "Unformat" utility there are zero options anyone
here could offer up. Instead of System Works, I'd spend money
on an Imaging program to prevent this type of issue in the future.

On product key(s), buy an Ultra-Fine point sharpie pen and
transcribe the key code onto the disk itself will help prevent lost
keys.
 
Firstly, mine was serious.
Secondly, you can contact Symantec for a key.
Thirdly, I still do not believe that a friend would allow you to
install NSW, no matter who I am.

God is trying to give your son a sign. She doesn't want him to
reinstall Symancrap malware on his computer.

1.) This is NOT a Symancrap newsgroup.

2.) Symancrap is the 2nd largest malware distributor in the world.

3.) People that purposefully install malware on their computers deserve
what they get.

4.) Your post is even more useless to the OP than those of us telling
him to tell his son that he is lucky he lost his PK and cannot reinstall
Symancrap's malware.
