Norton & MS Security programs/updates

I have the Norton Internet Security program will all
current live updates. Do I also need to download/install
all Win XP security updates? How much redundancy is
there?

Yes. Certain programs, such as FrontPage for example, will be
autoconfiged by NIS to listen to ports that are used to infect unpatched
systems.

Use both the patch & NIS.
