Norton Live Update Won't Connect

I tried Live Update for Norton Antivirus but it won't
connect. I even tried turning off the Beta 1 Anti Spyware.
Is there something I need to do, or did I delete a Spyware
threat I shouldn't have?

Rod, I'm having the same problem. I contacted my ISP
support and after several failed attempts from the tech
dude, he referred me to Norton. Norton help indicates a
firewall problem which brings me to the spyware issue. I
have another issue and that is after reloading Norton it
can't connect to configure. So I'm in peril for virus
protection. Can someone offer some help? Thanks. Richard

After putting MS Antispyware on my system, my Norton
Updates worked fine. It might be as you suggested that
you deleted something you shouldn't have, but also
recheck (if you haven't already) your configuration
settings with Norton. Maybe you inadvertantly changed
something when setting up MS Antispyware.

I know this isn't much help, but at least you know MS
Antispyware works with Norton on someone's computer.
