Norton Ghost and XP/W2k

I had w2k on my machine and ugraded to XP. There is one software (MovieStar)
that gives me problem in XP but worked in W2K.

Before upgrade, I used Norton Ghost to save an image of disk. I thought I
could just copy the image back to my XP and run W2K but this gives me some
error about boot cannot be found.

Is there anyway to swicth back and fore between XP and W2K (I have saved the
ghost image of both)?

I have one disk with one partition.

Thanks

I dont understand how you copied the image back to XP.
Try dual boot which would require 2 partitions. You can
format your harddrive to have 2 partitions and then
restore your 2K image to 1st partition. Ghost allows you
to change the partition or drive size when restoring.
Next, reinstall XP while running 2K and select to install
on 2nd partition. This will make dual boot selectable
upon power up.

I have saved the image to an USB external drive. I have created Ghost floppy
with USB support. I boot the machine using the ghost floppy and restored the
W2K image over XP. Right after W2K screen appears, I get inaccessible boot
device blue screen.

Do I have to reinstall XP or I can just restore the XP image using Ghost. I
have made an image of XP too. What do I use to reformat the disk?
