I am running Norton Corp version 10.1.6.6010, later this afternoon at bootup
Windows Security Centre says Norton Corp version 10.1.6.6010 is out of date.
I ran liveupdate & was told that Norton Corp version 10.1.6.6010 is upto
date. Ran liveupdate & got the latest signatures dated 10/10/2007 rev 23. On
reboot, same problem so I have to disable Windows Security Centre monitoring
if I have an anti virus running. I have malware scanned & my Win XP home is
up to date.

Pleasw could someone help me.

Thanking in advance to all.

Sorry I can`t help you but I quit using Norton and Mcafee for the reason
you state plus they caused other problems.
I used them for 2 years or so before I gave up.

Solved the problem, it was my fault because I had set the month wrong in the
system tray clock.
