Halfway thru a virus scan My computer CPU usage goes upto
100%. Shortly after my system freezes up.What could be
causing this? Thanks.

You know, I've no idea....I've also no idea why you're posting here about
it, either. Just because you're running it under XP doesn't mean this is the
correct place to be posting. You need to contact the distributor of the
/application/ *not* the operating system.
