norton anti virus

i recently had to do a system recovery and had to take the pc back to factory
settings, since then ive not been able to reinstall norton fully. i have
system works but not the anti virus scan it tells me something is not
allowing it to be installed but what and where? can anyone help
 
uninstall and reinstall it , if you have the disc.
otherwise refer to symantec support

I had the same problem. In my case I had the OEM version and after trying
very hard with Norton (Symantec) and Dell I had to purchase the CD. There is
no other way.
I met a brickwall every time!
