Your response was prior to, and I quote, "Once you have removed Norton Anti
Virus then keep it removed. Norton is
useless and causes more problems than it cures."

The subject is NAV 2006/2007. Your subsequent response provides no basis
for the opinion above concerning the subject just mentioned. Illogical,
does not compute. Not saying you're wrong, you just don't substantiate the
statement.

As far as being a voice representative of all or vast majority of MVPs, find
that extremely doubtful.

Lil Dave, you are entitled to your opinion. My opinion is that Norton is
useless, end of story!

No. You stated in prior response "Hertz I'm afraid most MVPs would
disagree. As I've stated before Norton
causes more problems than it actually cures most MVPs have to deal with the
problems caused by Norton from people who post to these newsgroups, so I'm
sorry but as far as I am concerned Norton is a No No!"

You're entitled to your opinion. How you determined the opinion of so many
MVPs, remains elusive. And doubtful if truly done. Won't play dodgeball if
you don't want to address it though. So, I'll leave it at that. I never
questioned your opinion as that is obvious. Nor would I attempt to change
it.

All but one of the MVP's I know recommend removing Norton or McAfee. Both
dig tpp deeply into the system itself and cause way too many problems. It
used to be two MNPs I know that liked Norton, but the other one finally
learned.

Friends, I'm no MVP and I'm no systems honsho.....but I've used Norton
Systems Works for years, and I really can say that it has protected me
well, and the problems I have had, I probably caused myself. They
used to be hard to get help from, but over the years even that has
improved. Maybe a lot of other programs are better, but NSW has
served me well, and even better now that it has GHOST incorporated
in it.

So far, after I uninstalled and reinstalled it correctly, it seems to be
working fine.
