I stumbled across this blog by Josh and he describes the way to get Norton AV
2006 to work with Vista Beta 2:

http://windowsconnected.com/blogs/joshs_blog/archive/2006/06/12/3058.aspx

OK, I installed the patch.
Then I tried reinstalling NAV 2006. But I get an error message: "This
product requires Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or greater or a 32-bit version
of Windows XP. Setup will exit." Which it does. :(

Any thoughts on how (or if) I can install under Vista v86?

Thanks.

The way Norton behaves I was beginning to wonder if IT was the virus ;o)

I used Norton a few years ago. Never again.

Correct me if I am wrong - but - I do not see ANY reference to Norton AV
2006 in the blog, nor the two (2) links listed BELOW that blog. In fact, the
Symantec and Microsoft links that are referenced, seem to indicate that this
patch is for Norton
Antivirus 10 . I believe that NAV 10 is the CORPORATE version.

People, including myself are grasping at any straw, I guess. Good catch!
Thanks for clarifying. I should be much more careful!

Mark -
No problem. I read and re-read the article and info on the links until I was
quite sure that it pertained only to the Corporate version of NAV. I have
been known to create a couple of posts in the past where I did not do all of
my homework. In my haste to help someone - I had to " run for cover " after
several posts proved me wrong. That`s the name of the game.
Best of luck ...............John.
