Norton Anti Virus 2004

After I install NAV 2004 for Windows XP, my 3.5, cd and
cd-r do not work. Can't find any help on symantecs sites.
Computer beginner here. Can anyone help?

Try contacting Symantec support for Norton Antivirus. You will have to
click several times to wade through the menus, but eventually there will be
a place to post a question. My experiences with Symantec support is that
they really will answer your question, but it may take several days.
However, their advice is usually worth waiting for.
