Normal.dot

In Word 2003, I have saved my Normal.dot file that has my customized
settings. I'm now using VISTA and cannot locate this file or any application
data files for that matter. How can I transfer my Normal.dot settings from
my old computer to my new one?
Thanks,
Jim

The path has changed slightly. Make sure you search on hidden & system
files, as the AppData folder is usually hidden.

The path will look something like:
C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

The path that the normal.dot file is saved in is defined in Word at tools >
options > file locations > user templates.

Grasham: I cannot locate my normal.dot file. When I follow the path you
suggest below, inside User templates" my folder is empty! Can you help me fix
MY word application?

Thank you.
