None of my folders open, or in any program

when i go to the start menu and click the the my documents icon or any other
folder icon, my computer freezes. ran some scans for spyware, nothing turned
up, ran norton, a few small things showed up but didnt help the problem.
wondering what you all think i should do?
 
To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW
