I hooked up the power supply to a computer.
However, Nothing powers up except a green light on the main board.

On another old main board. I notice there is no-plugin for the power
supply. Is this normal?

The green light on the first motherbird is powered by a standby
supply line from the PSU which is independent of the main 5V
and 12V outputs which come alive only when the computer is
fully turned on.

It is common for a defective PSU to have a working standby
line but not be able to fully turn on.

The other 'old main board' is probably an AT board which
uses a different type of PSU connector.

I just forgot that computer, On the other computer I did find the
plug-in it was hidden. It somewhat works. I may have to take it in
to a computer shop.
