non working icons

My dial up and DSL icons and my printer icon quit working
after installing a update or KASSA. You can open IE and
the dial up box will pop up and you can choose and dial
in ok. It no longer runs in the task bar so you cannot
disconnect when your done. You can print to the printer
but when you look at the installed printers there are
none. System restore will not work. Dell replaced the
hard drive and it did the same thing again. I know of
another person having the same trouble so it has got to
be download related. Appreciate any help or suggestions.

Sounds like you need to update your virus definitions and
start a virus scan.
