Dial-up icon not appearing

Dial-up icons are not showing after wizard is finished, I
still can dial if i made shortcut to Desktop but when i go
to Network and Dial-up settings it disappears. this is
very frustrating since i cant disconnect which makes me
either restart computer or disable modem in order to stop
connection. The icon disappears right after i close the
Network and dial-up settings window.
