non-recursive forward error

Looking through my DNS event logs, I see a lot of the
following error messages (some with different IP
addresses), but I don't have the specified IP address set
as a forwarder, and I do have my server allowing recursion.
Also, none of the root hints point to these IP addresses.
I can't find anything pointing to these IP's. How do I
get rid of this error message, and should I be concerned
that my server is forwarding to a server that I didn't set
up?

(I've inserted x's to cover the real numbers. In the
event log, actual numbers are shown here.)

The DNS server is configured to forward to a non-recursive
DNS server at 192.41.x.x.

DNS servers in forwarders list MUST be configured to
process recursive queries.
Either
1) fix the forwarder (192.41.x.x) to allow recursion
- connect to it with DNS Manager
- bring up server properties
- open "Advanced" tab
- uncheck "Disable Recursion"
- click OK
OR
2) remove this forwarder from this servers forwarders
list
- DNS Manager
- bring up server properties
- open "Forwarders" tab
- remove (192.41.x.x) from list of forwarders
- click OK

Thanks in advance for any help.

Why did you do that?
This could hold the key to resolving your issue.

Try this hotfix:
Event 7063 is recorded in the DNS log of Event Viewer in Windows 2000 Server

This event has been disabled because it can be fooled into reporting a false
positive by remote servers out on the Internet that behave oddly.

Assuming you are running Windows 2000, until you get SP5 or a hotfix you
should verify that your forwarders are good and then ignore this event.

(You did not specify what OS you are using - please provide this always, it
makes helping much easier. Also, please cut-and-paste entire event log
messages if you can.)
