Non active links

I am having problems with my Win XP Pro
It seems to freeze on some sites and also links to other sites are non
active somtimes
 
Go to Start/Run, and type: REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL Then open IE, Tools menu, Options, Program Tab, and click the "Reset Web Settings"
button.
