Don't stick your finger in anything. Just open the case and boot your PC, that
way you may be able to see and hear where the sound initiates. If it is your
cooling fan, you can get another one at many outlets such as BestBuy, Circuit
City or Radio Shack.
It could be cdrom, power supply fan bearings or cooling fan bearings,
harddrive, Videocard fan if it has one. If it is any of these prepare for
them to fail soon.
Have a person who knows alot about building computers find out for you.
I guess he wanted to say helicopter.
If your mainframe makes a noise like helicopter, it means somthing wrong.
I suggest you to change a case or a fan.
If it is from a CDROM, you know how to do it.
