Just noticed that NOD32 version 4 is out. Certainly can't remember
any emails from the company advising me of this?

As I have a 2 year license for version 3 upto April 2010 can I just
download the trial mode of 4 and install using my version 3 license?

You can also download the "purchased" version:
http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php
(there is no need to use the "trial" version)

I downloaded version 4,
uninstalled version 3 and
installed version 4.

You can use your valid license for all versions.

I can corroborate what FredW said. I had ~ 8 months left on a "purchased" v3
license, and now have ~ 8 months left on a "purchased" v4 license.

And there's normally no need to uninstall the previuos version either. I've
never done so for this or previous upgrades either.

Thanks for the link just downloading now.

Shame the auto update never asked me to install version 4 on its own.

Never mind will just have to remember to check the website every few
months.
