Brand New Hardware setup includes
Intel D865PERL with 800Mz Front side Buss
Intel P4 2.8 CPU
Geil 512 x 2 PC-3500 Memory chips in a Dual Setup
Adaptec 29160 SCSI card LVD interface BIOS V3.10
SCSI CD drives
Maxtor Atlas 36.4 Gb Ultra 160 HD
480watt P4 Power supply
PNY GeForce Fx 5200 Dual Video Card
No connection to IDE drives at all
The system powers up, I hit F10, The Adaptec SCSI card
boots to v 3.10, the boot select screen appears, the CD
runs to "Windows is Starting", then various BSD appears
Once, I got to the format drive option, where I selected
NTFS for the new 36.4 Gb drive followed by a BSD with
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT LESS OR EQUAL
SCSIPORT.sys
At other times, I get a BSD with various stop errors.
Do I need an upgrade to any of the component driver or is
there an error in one of the devices? Any suggestion
would be accepted.
