MY ANTIVIRUS SHOWED THAT I HAD THE NETSKY WORM ON MY COMPUTER; I DID ALL I NEEDED TO REMOVE THE WORM. WINDOWS XP LOADED AND IT SHOWED THE BOOT INI AS BEING CORRUPT. I RECONFIGURED IT AND NOW I HAVE NO SYSTEM.INI OR WIN.INI. HOW CAN I GET MY WIN AND SYSTEM INI BACK TO NORMAL; IF YOU GO TO MSCONFIG IT SHOWS NOTHING IN THOSE TWO BOXES. I NEED HELP AND DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO. THANKS

They are not needed in Windows XP. Win.ini and System.ini are only used for
legacy software that requires environment variables entry there, and they
will create the entries as needed. If your system is operating normally
again, you do not need them.
