I can log onto my ISP but no web page is displayed. Any url
I try, I get the message "No server available". IE6 is set
to all its defaults, I have run "winsock repait tool"
without success. I can ping url's and get a reply.

Suggestions, advice and wild arse guesses all welcome!

TIA

Brad

Hi,
Are you sure that settings are correct in Internet Options> Connections?
Such as nothing checked under LAN Settings if you're on dial-up. Proxy
server not checked (for most home users.)

Your ISP probably provided this info or has it available at their website.

"No server available" sounds like you aren't really connecting to the ISP.
