Did the company ever try and recover the goods from people people who got those BMW bikes?

Yeah they put all the serial numbers on a blacklist if I remember right.

Don't know how it works, probably to do with license plates.

They were unregistered, so presumably when they treid to get them licensed it rang up on the computer and they got nicked.

I bet most of the bikes were never found as most of them will be running around fields annoying local residents and never legally see a road.
