No "View Source"

For some reason the "View Source" menu item does nothing. I don't use it
much; to debug my own pages and to rip images out of pages who have that
annoying "You are not authorized to do that" message when you right click on
their page, so that I can email them their precious images.


Any ideas?

First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content.) It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.) Bigger isn't necessarily better.

If you have a shortcut to Notepad.exe on the desktop, rename it.

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.
