No video in XP

I accidently (on purpose) disabled my video controller in XP while
troubleshooting installation of a new video card. Now I have no graphics
beyound the XP start up screen, and I'm not able to get into Safe Mode (stops
after loading drivers).

I'm looking for suggestions on how to re-activite the video controller. I
removed the new video card (Nvidia) and reinstalled the previous ATI graphics
card but no luck. I know XP is starting ok, just can't see it. Will an XP
Recovery from the CD do the trick, and if so, what would I do once I'm at the
command line in Recovery? Or will a re-installation of XP have to be the way
to go?

No luck same result. I'm not able to boot successfully into any Safe Mode
mode. Can't get beyond screen list of drivers. Any suggestions how to
successfully get into Safe Mode?

Thanks

I'm not able to boot into XP in any mode so impossible to uninstall IE7. I
just have to do the repair install and deal with clean up after.

Thanks
