When i first installed this program i had a system tray
icon donw by the clock. Since upgrading to the latest
version this has dissapeared and it doesnt seem to run in
the background anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled and
the icon appeared, but when i ran the upgrade option, it
disapeared again. Anyone have any ideas???

Have you tried this?

1. Right click an empty space on your task bar.
2. Select Properties.
3. Select Taskbar tab and checkmark Hide Inactive Icons
check box and select Customise.

You will see a list of Current items. Select Microsoft
Antispyware and a scroll box will appear. Make sure the
Always Hide Option is not selected.

Hope this helps.

Longstanding and well documented bug in XP.

Log out and log back in. MSAS icon will show, as well as
a few others.
