No Subject heading

I have several e-mails in my Inbox with no Subject heading.

Is there a way I can add a Subject heading to it, so it's easier to tell
what the e-mail is regarding? The only method I can think of is by clicking
onto Forward, adding a heading and then sending it back to myself.....

Any ideas?

try typing in the subject field of an open message then save and close.
