No Start-up

Recently I installed Age of Empires - Gold Edition for my son on his desktop,
brandnew game bought from a local chain stor in town. My son spend the whole
afternoon on the pc and I personaly switch the pc off that night. The very
next day the pc fail to start.
The pc start-up untill you reach the XP logo but then it swithes off again
with a flash of a blue screen. The pc immediately starts up again and if not
switch ed off manualy this pc sits there the whole day start and shutting
down.
I have tried starting the pc in save mode , debugging it ect, ect, with no
solution.
Can some one give advice???

you could try, doing F8 and choosing last known good configuration, maybe
that will work, otherwise, if your not able to boot in safe mode, i would
recommend repairing your windows xp, put the windows xp cd in boot from it,
choose to install windows xp, dont choose repair, do as if your install a new
version of windows xp, choose the partition that already has windows xp, it
will tell you that there's already a windows xp installed then choose repair
or re-install, this will re-install the system files for windows xp, and
hopefully repair your windows xp
