No Sound

I recently upgraded to XP on my HP Pavillion 8160. Now I
have no sound I installed the driver that I thought would
work. It did not

I have a question mark over Analog Device AD1816A in
device manager and I get a message saying no mixer is
installed. Please help!!!!!

Hello Helen

What you need to do is remove any drivers that related to your
previous OS before upgrading. Go to HP.com look up your pc
model or type and download the currect drivers for XP. Since is
is disable now, undisable the device and remove it, restart your
pc and let XP prompt you for driver, and then proceed

This is free site and u need to make Id first but its
quite easy.
