no sound

Hello,
(Sorry for my English...)
I cannot hear any sound from my computer.
When I go to "Sounds and audio devices" in Control Panel, at item "C-Media
AC97 Audio Device" I see (translated from Polish):

Producer: C-Media
Location: PCI 0, 31, function 5
Status: Cannot run this device (Code 10).

Please help. THANX.
