no sound on pc. i've un-and reinstalled drivers, replaced on board sound
with sound card, replaced speakers, checked to see nothing's muted and that
the volume is up. have checked cables, even installed a parallel version
(dual-booting) windows. still nada. checked to see it was default device in
sound control panel applet.
have checked bios, confirmed on board is "seen" and is enabled (disabled now
with sound card installed).
any thoughts? thanks very much for any help!
