No Sound...Help

I hooked up my camcorder with S-Video. While I was transferring it to the
computer I could hear the sound. Then when I play back the video I cannot
get any sound.

Any suggestions?

the S-video cable transfers only the video, not the audio.... and you might
have heard the sound playing on the camcorder as you captured the video.

You need to connect the audio cable also.

I have tried so many different things tonight and nothing worked.

I know at one point I had the S-video cable in and also the audio cable
plugged in.

What should my audio input source be? Also should the video input source be
S-Video?

Yes, S-video is better than an RCA connection.... if you can use it, do it.

What brand/model capture device are you using?

So I tried it with the S-video and it didn't work.

I have a JVC GR-DVL320U. I had pluged the s-video and audio cables into
All-In-Wonder ATI Input adapter. I have absolutely no idea what I should be
doing.
