No sound from my speakers

I have no sound coming from my seakers. I have tried
everything....gone through all of the help menus...still
nothing. Any solutions?

Make sure the windows audio service is running

start/run
services.msc

Then

start/control panel/sounds and audio devices

Select the volume tab.

At the top of the window, next to the first little speaker symbol, above the
area labelled device volume, does it give the name of the sound device, or
say something like NO Sound or Sound not Available.

Post what it says.
