No sound during slide show

I have put toghether a powerpoint slide show and want to insert a wave file,
but the music will not play. What do I need to do to get it to play?
 
I'd suggest asking in a newsgroup related to PowerPoint.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
