no sound device

hey, i just reinstalled my windows xp due to some problems. and now i have no
sound... in windows media player it says "cannot play file" due to no sound
device instaleld on my computer.... how do i get one of these im havin tons
of trouble. helps appreciated, thx mitch
 
yo, ive been playing music well in the past but my computer has seemed to
lose all of its sound but i can still hear a very little bit of sound when i
put my ear righ up to my speaker even with all the volume controlls at full
blast! will someone please help me with this problem, thanks.
 
I also had to have my hard drive replaced and I no longer have sound device
drivers. How can I install them? Is there a download that can be used or do
I have to buy my own or new ones?
