No sound after formatting! PLEASE HELP

Can someone explain how I can get my audio system to work
again?

I just finished formatting my computer and now my
speakers won't work. I went to the device manager and
noticed that there is a yellow exclamation mark beside
Multimedia Audio Controller and Universal Serial Bus
(USB) Controller. When I clicked on them, it says my
drivers haven't been installed.

How do I install the drivers? My speakers are from Altec
Lansing (ACS21W/ACS22). I also have a CD that came with
my computer. It is labelled as an Upgrade Kit V 1.7 and I
have installed the Sis Utility Tray from it (including
something called PCI Sound?). I just have no idea what to
do next.

Hello

Can you provide your pc type so that one can better
know your sounds card type. Meaning who is your pc
made bye, IBM, HP, etc. More than likley you do not
have the right drivers installed for your soundcard.

Yes, it would be a big help to know your computer and better still if you
can tell the sound card you are using. You can also try updating via the
Internet (go to control panel>system>device manager>select your
hardware>properties>driver>update).

Thanks
