No response to click

Get no response to left mouse click on link when browsing
with MS explorer ver 6.0 and running Outlook in the
background ver 2000 SP3 9.0. Looks as though the modem
(its a SDUP account) is waiting for Outlook to respond and
is ignoring the browser interface.

Running Win Me

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi there,
I'm having the same problem. I have found out that I
inadvertantly downloaded ActiveX controls with the latest
Microsoft upgrade/patch. I cant get rid of it. I tried to
delete IE and start again but of course you cant REALLY
delete IE...

Does anyone have any ideas on this one???
