No remote access allowed except via Guest Account

I can't get any remote access to a machine using XP
professional except when I enable Guest Account. I don't
want to use this. I want to connect using Administrator
and password. Machine is not allowing this. Any ideas?

Are you still set to use Simple sharing mode ?
(Folder Options, bottom of View tab)
