Try a new mail profile. Also, you will need to enable searching
hidden/system files in Windows Search.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Jackson asked:

| I am using Outlook 2002 with XP. I understand that there should be a
| file with a pst extension. I did a search for *.pst and could
| not find any pst files.
|
| My REAL problem is that my Deleted Items currently shows 684 files???
| I have always kept this to a minimum but it looks like they're
| duplicating. When I change from one folder to another I get the
| following error message: [
| Outlook could not save the updated folder shortcut information.
| Check to make sure there is sufficient disc space and that the file
| "C:\Documents and Settings\Jack\Application Data\Microsoft Outlook"
| is not marked read-only. Another attempt to save will be made after
| the next change when you exit. You don't have the appropriate
| permission to perform this operation. ]
|
|
|
| I tried REPAIR and that didn't help.
|
|
|
| Any suggestions?
