No printing

When I tried to print a page from web page (e.g., MSN), my printer did not
respond.
When I clicked "Print Preview", I see only grey background. No picture nor
text.
I use IE6/WinXP-SP2. Could someone advise me how to tweak the connection
between IE6 and printer.
My printer is Canon S520. BTW, I have no problem printing doc or xls
documents. Satoshi

A check mark is already in front of Unicode.

This morning, I found that system restore is blank. I am wondering this
caused the problem or not.

lvee,

It's strange. Everything seems working fine.
I have no problem in printing from 98Outlook.
But nothing can be printed from IE6 and Outlook Express.
Web pages from Mozilla Firefox can be printed without any problem.
I wonder there is a problem with WinXP (SP2) or not.
Your help would be appreciated. Satoshi

Never mind. The problem was solved after uninstalling and re-installing
the printer driver. Thanks for your help. Satoshi

Okay, lets start here..go to Start>admin tools>system and see if there are
any Red Error indicators on the days that you have tried to print web pages.
Click on one (what you are looking for is any thing that relates to your
problem), by doing so a box will pop up with a brief explanation, and an
event error ID # post that. Then, there will be a link to an MS article,
click on that and post back with what it says.

As far as System restore..what do you mean blank? There are no restore
points, or the page is void of text, etc? Did you check to see that you have
system restore enabled?

You are concerned that this is an SP2 issue. Did this happen only after you
downloaded Sp2?
