No Pictures in HTML emails

Does anyone know why on 2 different machines I cannot see pictures on html
emails. This started happening since I dowloaded IE7 (The release version)

If I forward the email, the pictures show up on the new email but all I get
on the original email is the picture box with the red cross in the corner.
