No Paging File

When I log into Windows XP I keep getting a message
saying "Limited Virtual Memory - system has no paging
file or the paging file is too small" it then goes on to
tell me how to fix it - Control panel - system etc. I
customised the amount, restart the computer as suggested
and it comes around again.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this please.
 
The custom size is based on a minimum of 1.5x RAM and a maximium of 3x RAM.
Click on SET button before applying changes.

You may want to let Windows manage it for you. Second option.

You should have adequate amount of physical RAM in any case.
