No page on IE7

Frequently when I use Internet Explorer V7 to go to a website I get the
message "Done" in the lower left corner but the screen is empty. After a
refresh still nothing. Why, what is going on?

How long after "Done" do you allow the browser to continue loading
the site. It's possible you have a Hosts redirect that points to LocalHost.
This method is used to block certain content. Have you tried another
browser to see if the problem is specifically an IE issue. I'd suggest you
try either Opera or Google Chrome. ( Uninstall after verifying ).

It would also help to know what Security software you have running.
It may be that the Firewall component is blocking sites without your
knowledge.

I occasionally have the same problem on IE7 & Firefox. I hit the stop
button and refresh and I am usually successful on the second attempt.
Reason unknown.
