I have a user who on his home machine had selected to make the Admin account
Private during setup. A while later the machine died and was rebuilt.
The problem now is that the Documents saved under the old Admin account,
that were marked private can not be accessed. Current Admin can list the
folder contains but not open any files. And when we check his current XP/sp2
there is no option to Make this folder private on the sharing tab let allow
to turn off the current setting.
So two Questions.
1. Can we salvage this profile?
And
2. Where did/is the Private option set/reset? (He wants to keep the kids out
of his stuff and liked/use too how it worked).
