No one's getting it, can I get an expert?

No one seems to be getting it. I have hit enter at the logon. I have tried
to put any number of passwords in there too, but nothing is working. I have
to have this computer by tomorrow and it is stuck at the logon screen with
the user as Administrator? What the hell? I did the "control
userpasswords2" thing and unchekced the little box - that's what got me here.
I went to "control panel/users" and made sure there were no passwords
needed. I need an expert, that's why I'm in the expert zone. There has to
be a way to fix this and I need some help figuring it out.

So, you decided that passwords were for peopel who could remember them and
you removed all passwords. You went into userpasswords2 and eliminated the
need to logon. The problem here is that "administrator" obviously has a
password and it sounds like you are using the classic logon screen (not the
welcome screen) which means you will have to type in the correct username -
if you erased their passwords, all you need is the username.

Also - if you want to log into the administrator user account but don't know
its password (for whatever reason):

Hack your password:

Another Password Hack:

Try not to start a new post - how about replying to your original and
explaining exactly what people are telling you that is wrong. Remember - we
cannot see your computer - we have to go by your description of your
problem.

Once you add a user account (with administrator privileges of course) you
should no longer see the login prompt for Administrator.

I'm curious how you got here if you can't log on.

But if you can get there again, why don't you reverse your previous step.

(1) This time check the box you unchecked.
(2) Select the Administrator account.
(3) Click the Reset Password button
