Guys, no one is getting it!

I have unchecked the little box in "control userpasswords2" I have removed
the passwords in "control panel/users" I have done all of that. Now, it
goes to the logon and says Administrator. Why? I hit enter and it says that
I need to check the domain and password, the same way it does if I enter
anything else in there. I have to have this computer by tomorrow and I am
stuck at that stupid screen. I'm beginning to hate xp altogether. Wonder
what the Linux is all about.

Was your username "administrator" or did you have other accounts?
What happens if you replace the word "administrator" in the username field
for that username?

Sounds like you turned off the welcome screen - which would likely be better
for you in this case.
Every system has an "administrator" account. You should log in as YOUR
user, change the administrator password appropriately, turn back on the
welcome screen if you have multiple users.

No operating system will be satisfactory to a person
with no patience who blames others for his problems.

You're in luck!

According to some, you should be able to get Linux up and running in about
an hour.

I hate to break it to you, but Linux uses passwords, too.
