No. of CPU & A common profile for all

hi all;

I got two questions. Appreciate all help.

1) My Intel Server hve 2 P3 Xeon CPU, but I only see one
under Windows Task Mgr. I hve changed the Sys Var in Env
Var, changed the NUMBER_OF_PROCESSORS to 2, but to no
avail.

2) I hve installed most Apps when logon as Admin. When I
logon as another user, the apps are not there. What must I
do so that all user accounts will see and can use all the
appds installed by administrator ?

Check the HAL in DeviceManager - it must be the multiprocessor version.
Move the shortcuts you want to AllUsers\StartMenu\Programs from Admin
profile.
BTW, why do another users have to logon at Advanced server console?

What is HAL ? in Device Mgr->Computer, its shows 'ACPI
Uniprocessor PC'.

How can I configure the Task Mgr Performace to display 1
graph each for 1 CPU ?

I wanted to use a User account (but made member of admin
grp) rather than the 'Administrator' account to use and
work on the Server. Juz a little security measure.
Its not a production server anyway.
